The album offers the listener a continuous journey across a vast array of sound-scapes. From the peace and tranquillity of 'Weightlessness' to the atmospheric onslaught of 'Lament', Concept of Irony is big on conventional metal trademarks, with blasting kicks and searing growls taking intensity levels to their peak. And yet, when it’s time to come down, ‘Concept…’ cascades rather than crashes, segueing into more subtle, ambient frontiers.
